I have a few things to say: I’ve been seeing lots of people thinking that in Samson and the Fireworks, Oliver and Toad’s models were swapped out with Samson and Bradford's, as it's possible to do that with CGI animation. I believe the story behind that is that in the entirety of the BWBA era, Joe Mills only voiced a passenger in Confusion Without Delay. I’m suspecting that for whatever reason, he wasn’t willing to do any more voice work for the show after that, hence Oliver and Toad’s models being swapped out. Of course, it’s been confirmed that Seeing is Believing was never intended for Season 21, but something tells me that since Merlin was a very popular character, Andrew Brenner wrote the episode during that Season and some of the animation was already completed, hence the absence of the road near the Vicarstown Bridge. I wonder if maybe the last two missing episodes of the season were never actually refitted into BWBA episodes. If Chucklesome Trucks had Rebecca defying all odds by not getting into an accident with the trucks, I imagine maybe a part two was planned where they actually caused her to crash. It also might be a bit of a stretch, but I wonder if maybe a Pack episode was also planned for this Season, but like Ian said, it was a concept they didn’t find worthy of pursuing.

Can you do this with Carlin? He also had quite the range …probably in the minority but being from the States I prefer the US voices…well most…obviously some were as bad as the writing character misidentification and Misty Island Rescue Also if you want to talk voices Google Jim Cummings…he has literally 100+ voices to his credit

Keith’s Topham voice is amazing. I was thrilled to find out then he would be taking over the voice for the US Dub.

Now whilst Fatt Hatt definitely went overboard in this movie, can you really blame him? Thomas was arguably at his worst in a long time and the money and resources that went into the branch lines being destroyed, you can’t blame him for getting angry.

As much as it’s been harped and joked on, it was interesting having the show dissected and knowing it was basically trying to correct some of Awdry’s fundamental faults and dated ideas, even if unfortunately the show’s production basically hampered that vision.

I didn’t even know this season’s continuity was so tight and planned but man it’s gonna make my rewatch all the more interesting

He may not be my favorite overall character, Peter Sam is definitely my favorite narrow gauge engine, how can anyone not love him?

I really only see a Christopher Robin like movie being the best direction for this movie if it’s being “completely different”.

Whilst I like the idea of Thomas going to Japan and seems obvious, I do feel it would’ve undermined the emotional goodbye and purpose of Kenji, and was a nice wrap up to CGI Thomas’ very beginning with Hiro’s story.

I like most of these and it’s very much a shame they didn’t get produced, however I will give the benefit of the doubt on the idea these were just synopsis’s of the episodes and many elements and titles could’ve simply been placeholders, so maybe the final productions could’ve been more streamlined.

The fact that this man made some of my favorite voices ever goes crazy😂

Fun fact: I think Ashima’s top wheels used to climb mountains is sort of an adaptation of the culdee fell engines
